I feel I have done quite well in this quarter. I didn't start out great, but in the end it all worked out. I learned MLA a format, although using it has been a hassle, it gives my writing a gleaming new structure. I guess I should work on the ability to generate thesis on the spot. I love the classroom environment, where we can speak our minds with minimal criticism. (A little humor...) My only goal is like always, be all I can be, and improve my ability to snap out thesis.
I'm looking forward to Q2.

Terry. I definately agee with the fact that MLA format give a new structure to writing. I think that the humor in the classroom makes it less stressful to share. For me, I tend to be shy at times especially when it comes to sharing in front of a group but the non-stop laughing in the room sets a good mood. I also had the goal of wanting to come up with thesis statements more easily.
As the year progresses, you'll find creating a thesis statement becomes easier. It is a skill that takes some work and time to develop. I'm happy to know that the classroom is one in which you feel free to contribute ideas - I always appreciate a little humor too!
